He defended the thesis Cohomología de supervariedades in 1993 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He then published a few papers on the same subject (cohomology of supermanifolds) and won a tenured job as associate professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics IV of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Sadly, he died in 2004, at the age of 40, after a long desease.
