From the introduction
The aim of this text is an elementary and practical introduction to the systems of
linear equations, matrices and determinants. Elementary, as it assumes a minimum
background, and practical, as it stresses effective computational methods
for solving linear equations. These methods are illustrated with numerous
exercises with solutions. Moreover, the required general mathematical notions
are collected in an appendix.
