Personal
My family
I have been married since 23 August 1992. My wife is
Juana Almansa Esteban (b. 1965).
We have two daughters. The older is Mar
(b. 1995), and the younger is Enid
(b.1997).
Martial arts (and related
topics)
I am a practitioner of martial arts since I have been 15 years old.
I begun to practise Judo, but I dropped it three years
later.
When I was 21 years old, I started to learn Tae Kwon Do,
for fourteen years. attaining the category of black belt in 1987.
Throughout those years, I trained in the use of the nunchaku.
Later, I also practised Karate for several years.
From 2008 until 2011, I learnt Aikido.
During the 2017-2018 academic year I took an introductory course in the Mantis
style (Tang Lang Chuan) of Kung Fu.
Furthermore, I enjoy practising Tai Chi Chuan (some long and
short forms of the style Yang).
I also learnt Hatha Yoga for ten years (1982-1992) and I have
continued to practice it ever since.
During that period of time, I was also introduced in the techniques
of Californian massage
as well as in some other oriental disciplines of relaxation, such as Zen
meditation, Yuki, and Shiatsu.
