Amadeu Delshams
- My current position is professor emeritus at UPC.
- I received my Ph.D. from the Universitat de Barcelona in Mathematics, 1983,
under the supervision of Carles Simó, and I have been the thesis advisor of 13
Ph.D. students.

My papers
(and preprints)
have a good deal with Dynamical systems:
Effective stability of Hamiltonian and reversible systems,
whiskered tori, hyperbolic invariant objects,
splitting of separatrices, Arnold diffusion.
- I also have a book on Basic Tools of Numerical Calculus with Anton Aubanell and Antony Benseny,
in Catalan or Spanish.
- I am a member of the
UPC Dynamical Systems Group, which is a subset of the
UB-UPC Dynamical Systems Group.
This is a large group of researchers in Dynamical Systems based
in Barcelona, with a wide set of interests.
- I am also a member of the
DANCE network,
IMTech and researcher in
El Árbol de las Matemáticas.
- I am a member of the Editorial Board of several Journals:
Journal of Differential Equations,
Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems,
Gaceta de la RSME,
Journal of Nonlinear Science,
Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems,
Electron. Res. Arch., and I have been Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Series
ICIAM 2019 SEMA SIMAI Springer Series.
